The Salesians of Estoril brought together the volunteers and artists of WYD DON BOSCO 23 for a thank you meal. In a festive atmosphere of sharing and fraternity, those responsible made a point of thanking all those who gave a little of their time to this World Youth Day Lisbon 2023.
With a feeling of fulfilment and with full hearts, the volunteers who, during this World Youth Day, were at the service of the Salesians of Estoril, met yesterday evening for a convivial snack. The artists who participated in the SYM Festival were also present.
Sharing the experiences they have lived, as well as the nostalgia they already feel for the departure of the pilgrims, the volunteers were all together in a very special moment.
For Ana Quintas, who participated as a volunteer in the SYM Festival choir, this was a “unique experience” and “very remarkable”, especially for the “diversity of cultures”. “It is good to know that there are many people who are the face and sign of God’s love”, she concluded.
