March 22 marked the beginning of the road of preparation for the Lisbon 2023 World Youth Day in the Salesians of Estoril.
It was with great joy that the Community of Salesians of Estoril received the visit of the cross of the Diocesan Organizing Committee of Lisbon, passing by Pela Vigararia de Cascais, and which was a cause for celebration and celebration.
In the morning at the time, the students sang and danced to the sound of the WYD Lisboa 2023 Anthem, “Há Pressa no Ar”. Then followed a small moment of prayer for this journey of preparation, for all the young people who will respond to the invitation of Pope Francis and who will be in Lisbon next year, for each student and their families and for all those who, in this difficult moment, suffer from war.
In the afternoon, Eucaristia was celebrated in the school church for some classes in high school, where the youth had the opportunity to listen and pray the gospel of visitation, the same that serves as a theme for WYD23.
At the end of the celebration, it was up to the participants of different years of catechesis to deliver the cruz to the Parish of St. Anthony of Estoril.
