Last July 1, the work teams of WYD DON BOSCO 23 were gathered for an afternoon of work. With only one month left before the start of World Youth Day Lisbon 2023, everything needs to be ready to welcome the thousands of pilgrims who will arrive in Lisbon.
The DON BOSCO 23 WYD teams met last Saturday, July 1, at the Salesians of Lisbon for an afternoon of work.
Prepared to welcome more than seven thousand pilgrims from the Salesian Youth Movement, the organisation is putting the finishing touches to all the preparations so that nothing fails. From logistics to health, communication, registration and hospitality, all the teams are committed and working so that everything is ready to welcome the pilgrims.
After the teams had presented the latest news on the work they have been doing – in a question and answer format, the Eucharist with the community followed.
This was an important moment of sharing and communion, which allowed, once again, the elements of the different teams to feel that they are not alone and that there are many who are working for this great mission.
