The organization WYD DON BOSCO 23 was officially presented last May 21, the National Day of the Salesian Youth Movement, in Fatima.
At the end of another Art and Faith, the Salesian feast that closes the celebrations of SYM Day – which this year brought together about 1500 young people and members of the Salesian Family in the auditorium of the Paulo VI Center -, João Xavier Fialho, coordinator of WYD DON BOSCO 2023 officially presented the organization, making known some of the initiatives that are already underway, as well as some dates and official information.
At the end of the presentation, crosses of the World Youth Day were given to those responsible for the different Salesian Houses as a sign of the beginning of the journey of each house towards this great celebration of youth that will take place in Lisbon in 2023.
There was also a meeting that brought together the different teams of the organization.
WYD DON BOSCO 23 is the name of the organization of the Salesian Youth Movement responsible for the convocation and participation of young people from various Salesian environments around the world in WYD Lisbon 2023, living it according to Don Bosco’s charism.
