João Fialho, coordinator of the organization WYD DON BOSCO 23, was present at the Elective Congress ADMA 2022, held in Fatima on September 24, to present the state of play of preparations for WYD Lisbon 2023.
After presenting the organization WYD DON BOSCO 23, responsible for the convocation and participation of young people from various Salesian environments around the world in WYD Lisbon 2023, living it according to the charism of Don Bosco, the coordinator also spoke about the preparation of SYM DAY, which will take place on August 2, at the Salesians of Estoril. Eight thousand young people from all the participating countries are expected, on a day that will certainly be marked by joy and youthfulness.
At the end, everyone was motivated to collaborate in the preparation of this great feast of youth, namely through volunteer actions. As Pope Francis tells us, “we are all called to participate in this great feast”.
