WYD DON BOSCO 23 was presented on September 17 at the Provincial Congress of the Salesian Co-operators held in Fatima.
During his talk, João Fialho, coordinator of the Salesian Youth Movement organization, responsible for the convocation and participation of young people from various Salesian environments around the world in WYD Lisbon 2023, spoke about the different groups that make up the organization, the volunteers, the available platforms for dissemination (website, social networks, etc..), forms of participation, as well as the different groups that have already confirmed their presence.
The coordinator also presented the week of the World Youth Day, which will take place from 1 to 6 August 2023, in Lisbon, mentioning the central events, as well as other initiatives such as the Vocations Fair or the Youth Festival.
Regarding the participation of the SYM, João Fialho made reference to the SYM Day which will bring together, on August 2 at the Salesians of Estoril, all the participants of the Salesian Youth Movement for a day in the style of Don Bosco.
At the end of the presentation, João Fialho gave a WYD DON BOSCO 23 t-shirt to Borja Pérez, Regional Councillor for the Iberian Salesian Cooperators.
