There are 200 days left before the start of World Youth Day Lisbon 2023. In order to mark this date, the Lisbon City Hall has launched the campaign “Lisboa Acolhe”, inviting families to welcome the young pilgrims.
In a video launched by the municipality, the president, the vice-president and some councillors announce that they will also be host families for pilgrims.
“Lisbon will be with open arms, it will receive and welcome young people from all over the world. This is the spirit of our city, this is our energy”, says Carlos Moedas, Mayor of Lisbon.
The registration of families must be done in the respective Parishes, according to the place of residence; each family must welcome a minimum of two pilgrims per family/house.
