The DON BOSCO 23 WYD organisation does not have its own programme of Days in the Dioceses. Therefore, the Salesian groups that intend to carry out this experience will be integrated into the various dioceses of Portugal.
The Days in Dioceses – or Pre-Days, as they were previously called – are a preparatory meeting that precedes the week of World Youth Day, and consists in the integration of young people from all over the world into parish communities in the various dioceses of the country.
The Diocesan Days will take place from 26 to 31 July 2023 in 17 dioceses in Portugal: Algarve; Angra; Aveiro; Beja; Braga; Bragança-Miranda; Coimbra; Évora; Funchal; Guarda; Lamego; Leiria-Fátima; Portalegre-Castelo Branco; Porto; Viana do Castelo; Vila Real and Viseu.
70€ per pilgrim. This contribution does not include personal accident insurance for Days in the Dioceses. The contribution to the Days in the Dioceses must be made to the respective host Diocese, without any intervention of WYD DON BOSCO 23.
Travel to the host Diocese (and from there to Lisbon) is the responsibility of each group of pilgrims. The Salesian team accompanying the Days in the Dioceses can help you to find transport.
Each Diocese has its own programme, which will be announced in due course.
