On July 1, the coordination of WYD DON BOSCO 23 met with the pastoral teams of the different Salesian presences during their Formation and Pastoral Planning Days.
During this presentation of the organisation WYD DON BOSCO 23, the Salesian preparations and dynamics on the way to World Youth Day Lisbon 2023 (WYD) were presented.
The different houses also had the opportunity to understand how they will participate in the dynamics of welcoming. Both the houses of the dioceses of Lisbon, Setúbal and Santarem – which will receive the young people during the week of World Youth Day from 1 to 6 August 2023 – and all the others who will take part in the pre-days or Days in the dioceses and will welcome the young people who arrive earlier and who wish to be inserted in the parish communities of the various dioceses of the country.
A direct invitation was made to pastoral animators so that they may already “sow” in young people the desire to participate in this World Youth Day, inviting each and every one to be present.
There was also time to give some information about how to register for WYD, as well as to present some communication materials already available: website, social networks, t-shirts, flyers and tarps.
At the end, the animators were able to share their doubts and difficulties, as well as leave some suggestions.
