Abrantes, in the district of Santarém, north of Lisbon, is known as the “flowery city” due to its gardens, windows and doors decorated with flowers. Here one can find the Casa Maria Mazzarello in the space of the Church Nossa Senhora das Graças, where the Salesian Sisters have collaborated with the Parish in Catechesis, the formation of catechists, liturgical animation and formation, local youth ministry, animation in the parish kindergarten, and religious support for the elderly and the sick.
