A little south of Porto, 20 minutes away, we find the Externato Nossa Senhora de Fátima, presence of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) in Arcozelo. The FMA history in this area began with the Children’s Holiday Colony in Aguda Beach in 1952. In 1995, the school was transferred to a new location in Arcozelo. The Youth Center, part of the Salesian Youth Movement, is the apple of the eye of the religious community on weekends. It is attended on Saturdays, all day long, by many young people, animators and volunteers. Activities include catechesis, sports, music, theater, … the day concludes with the Sunday Eucharist.
