Cascais

It is known as the “most Salesian county” of Portugal. Here we find five presences of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, with the Provincial House and the Social Center Nossa Senhora de Fátima in Bairro Novo do Pinhal, in Estoril; the Externato Nossa Senhora da Assunção and the Externato Nossa Senhora do Rosário, in Cascais; and the Casa São José, for elderly or sick Salesians, in Manique. In the municipality of Cascais there are also two of the largest Salesian schools in the country, in Estoril and Manique, with nearly 2,000 students each.

The activity of the SYM is well established in the various presences, through the Youth Centers and the scout groups 75 Estoril and 550 Manique.
