At the Salesians of Estoril the process of preparation for World Youth Day continues. The young pilgrims have held their 5th WYD Encounter.
The group of young people from the Salesians of Estoril who have enrolled for World Youth Day continue the journey with monthly preparation meetings.
At the last meeting in May, the group painted a mural of Don Bosco for World Youth Day, which will welcome hundreds of thousands of young people from all over the world for the great encounter with Pope Francis next August.
Three young religious were invited to share their experience in following Jesus and discovering their vocation. Father Lourenço Lino, 25, a diocesan priest, and Sisters Verónica, 27, and Marta, 30, both from Aliança de Santa Maria, answered several questions posed by the young people.
The meeting also included a shared dinner at the school Pastoral and participation in the “Rezar+” meeting and the praying of the rosary.
