With two months left until World Youth Day Lisbon 2023, Bishop Manuel Clemente invites and encourages everyone to get involved in the organisation of this meeting.
As this is an event of a magnitude never before seen in Portugal, the Cardinal-Patriarch of Lisbon stresses the urgency of enrolling volunteers, especially people linked to the health area.
The prelate also said that welcoming pilgrims, as a family, will help make this Day a time of closer contact between people, country and culture. He assures, however, that above all, this welcome will be even more remarkable for the host families themselves, affirming that they will profit spiritually from it.
Finally, he recalls that this Day is “of all of us, and for “all the people”.
