Last week, the organization WYD DON BOSCO 23 visited the Salesian houses in Mirandela, Porto and Mogofores to promote the pastoral accompaniment of the initiatives in preparation for WYD Lisbon 2023. The organisation met with the local teams preparing for this great event, sharing some details of the call to SYM groups as well as other aspects of Salesian participation in this World Youth Day.
They shared some of the activities already being carried out by some groups, as well as the existing dynamics that aim to motivate young people to participate in this very important moment for the Church.
The communities of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of Viana do Castelo, Arcozelo, Paranhos da Beira and Abrantes enthusiastically welcomed the visit of the organisation WYD DON BOSCO 23. In these meetings with each of the communities they presented in detail the Salesian organisation for the participation in World Youth Day, its objectives, the teams and its operational dynamics.
There was also a follow-up of the pastoral proposals that are already implemented locally and that help the young people to journey towards WYD Lisbon 2023.
This was a pleasant moment of communion between young people and consecrated people, who are already starting to pack their backpacks for Lisbon in August 2023.
