The first pilgrim’s kit for WYD Lisbon 2023 was given to Pope Francis today in Rome by Archbishop Américo Aguiar, President of the WYD Lisbon 2023 Foundation.
The backpack, which contains the basic equipment that will be given to all the young people registered for this great encounter with the Pope, was handed over by D. Américo Aguiar, who is in Rome for an audience with the Holy Father.
Pope Francis, who was the first pilgrim to register for WYD Lisbon 2023, on October 23, 2022, was now also the first recipient of the participant’s kit.
The pilgrim kit will soon begin to be prepared for distribution to the thousands of pilgrims who will travel to Lisbon between August 1 and 6.
