On December 7th the Salesians of Lisbon held the 1st Meeting in preparation for World Youth Day Lisbon 2023. Several young people from grades 8 to 12 and some former students were invited to gather in the late afternoon to begin the journey towards August 2023.
The meeting began with a brief formative moment and the testimony of Inês Ribeiro, a young participant in WYD 2019 in Panama. The youth were also challenged to reflect briefly on their expectations for WYD 2023, which is approaching.
This was followed by a time of conviviality and a shared dinner, which ended with a Prayer Vigil on WYD Rome 2000.
