With only 53 days left to World Youth Day, the president of the WYD Lisbon 2023 Foundation, D. Américo Aguiar, left a message of thanks to all those who are preparing this great meeting, further reinforcing his confidence in the presence of Pope Francis, in Portugal.
“The pope has renewed and always renewed that he will be with us in August 2023, and that is our certainty. We will celebrate WYD with our dear Pope Francis” ” said the president of the
Foundation WYD Lisbon 2023.
The auxiliary bishop of Lisbon appeals to the prayer of all, affirming that “God will provide” for all that’s still missing for the WYD week.
D. Américo renews his gratitude to those who are preparing to participate in WYD and to those who are helping to organize it, stressing that the Pope is also preparing in a very “special and particular” way for this meeting in August.
