The World Youth Day Lisbon 2023 recently presented the kit that will be given to all registered participants in the biggest meeting of young people with the Pope. At the same time, the Volunteer kit was also unveiled.
After Pope Francis, the first registered pilgrim, had already received his kit, it was the turn of all the other pilgrims to get to know the kit that will accompany them during the week of WYD Lisbon 2023.
The Pilgrim kit consists of a backpack, green or red with the logo of the meeting, which can be transformed into a small handbag and includes the following items: reusable water bottle; a wooden rosary; a ribbon to hang around the neck with the WYD credential; a red or green WYD 2023 t-shirt; a white “Panama-style” hat.
The Volunteer kit, which was also presented, is composed of a yellow backpack, with the same elements that make up the Pilgrim kit, but with a yellow t-shirt with the identification “volunteer” and a green “Panama” style hat.
All textile products that make up the kits for WYD Lisbon 2023 have the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certification, which ensures that no harmful substances or chemicals were used in their manufacture, neither for the environment nor for health.
The kits will be given to participants who are registered as pilgrims or volunteers.
