The coordination of WYD DON BOSCO 23 visited the headquarters of the WYD Lisbon 2023 Foundation on the occasion of the meeting between the LOC (Local Organizing Committee) and the movements and congregations.
During the meeting some information was presented about the Days in Dioceses (DND), namely the purpose of this initiative; the host dioceses; as well as the working procedures between the movements and the DND team.
There was also the opportunity to present the WYD Week, which will include the main events, the Youth Festival, the Park of Forgiveness, and the Vocation Fair. Some data regarding the objectives of these events, key ideas, as well as the conditions of participation were also disclosed.
At the end of the meeting the coordination of WYD DON BOSCO 23 had the opportunity to visit some areas of the headquarters such as the chapel, where there is a relic of St. John Bosco, and the room dedicated to him as patron of WYD.
