The organization WYD DON BOSCO 23 (participation of the Salesians in WYD Lisbon 2023) was presented on February 9th to the European Salesian Youth Pastoral Delegates gathered in Fatima. This organization calls, prepares and organizes the participation of young people from the various Salesian environments around the world to participate in the largest meeting of Catholic youth, as the Salesian Youth Movement. The European pastoral delegates were presented with the objectives, the form of participation and the proposals made by the SYM.
As has been custom in previous editions of WYD, the Salesian youth is integrated in this initiative of the Church, showing their Salesian charism through welcoming them in the Salesian houses, living the Salesian Youth Spirituality and organizing the SYM day.
This moment of sharing and feedback allows for a greater impetus in the preparation, as well as the gathering of young people from different European countries for the event in Lisbon.
