The organisation WYD DON BOSCO 23 (participation of Salesians in the WYD Lisbon 2023) was presented on February 9th to the European Salesian Youth Pastoral Delegates gathered in Fatima. This organisation convokes, prepares and organises the participation of young people from the various Salesian environments around the world to take part in the biggest gathering of Catholic youth as the Salesian Youth Movement. The European pastoral delegates were presented with the objectives, the form of participation and the proposals made by the SYM.
As has been customary in previous editions of WYD, the young Salesians are integrated into this Church initiative marking their Salesian charism through the welcome in Salesian houses, the living of Salesian Youth Spirituality and the organisation of the SYM day.
This time of sharing and feedback allows for a greater impulse in the preparation and convocation of the young people of the various European countries for the day in Lisbon. We are counting on everyone from 1 to 6 August 2023!
