Last Saturday, October 22, the Salesians of Lisbon hosted the World Youth Day Choir for a second rehearsal, this time open to the media.
Made up of about 200 choir members from all over the country, representing the 18 dioceses, this choir is made up of young people aged between 18 and 30 who have choral experience and basic musical reading skills.
Prepared to animate the five celebrations that will mark WYD Lisbon 2023, this choir is preparing an extensive repertoire, which includes more than 50 songs, including, of course, the hymn “There is a hurry in the air”.
More rehearsals are planned for January, March, April, June and July 2023, to be held together with the WYD Lisbon 2023 Orchestra.
