Lisbon

>Lisbon

In Lisbon we find the Casa Dom Bosco, provincial headquarters of the Salesians in Portugal, and the oldest Salesian school in Portugal, with Salesian direction since 1896, attended by about 3,000 students. A curiosity: the central building, with the Italian portico, was inaugurated by Fr. Miguel Rua in 1906. The Salesian Youth Movement is present with the Youth Center and the Scout Group 79 Prazeres. The Salesians evangelize two parishes in the Campo de Ourique neighborhood: Paróquia de Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres and Paróquia de Santo Condestável.
