Media Accreditation

Members of the press who wish to attend the Salesian Youth Movement events during the WYD Lisbon 2023 should submit their requests by filling out this form.

Please read carefully the information presented here before filling out the form.

The accreditation of communication professionals in WYD DON BOSCO 23 does not require a professional activity card but we ask that you fill out the document “ Recommendation Letter from the Media Outlet or Agency (271 downloads) ” by the management of the organ/institution in which you work.

All media must send a completed form for each employee.
The request for accreditation as media professional in WYD DON BOSCO 23, does not guarantee your approval, nor the access to all the events, since some may have space limitation.

Press accreditation for WYD DON BOSCO 23 is independent from Press accreditation for WYD Lisbon 2023. Media Professionals who wish to accompany WYD Lisbon 2023 should apply for accreditation through this link.

Raising of passes

The collection of the passes must be made at the WYD DON BOSCO 23 Press Centre, located at the premises of the Salesianos in Lisbon, by the applicant himself, presenting his Identity Card/Citizen Card/Passport.

Press Centre

Accredited journalists will have access to the WYD DON BOSCO 23 Press Centre, located on the premises of the Salesianos de Lisboa. On 2 August, accredited journalists will have access to the WYD DON BOSCO 23 Press Centre, located at the Salesianos do Estoril.

Photographs

The organisation WYD DON BOSCO 23 will provide the photographic report of the meeting. Publication must respect the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

SYM Forum

During the SYM Forum it is forbidden to capture video or sound images. Journalists can only do photo reportage.

Access spaces

Accredited journalists who wish to accompany the participation of specific groups of pilgrims must request specific and prior authorisation from the organisation. It will be up to the organisation to decide whether to approve it.
