The natural beauty of the city of Mirandela stays in our memory. In the region of Trás-os-Montes, in the northern interior of the country, we find the Mirandela Youth Shelter House. This is one of the social services promoted by the Fundação Salesianos. The presence of Mirandela welcomes boys in situations of danger/risk, between 6 and 25 years old, with State intervention of the Commissions for the Protection of Children and Young People or Court Services. Here, the Oratory-Youth Center has a very dynamic activity.
